Home Decor

Our home decor is woven by hand from natural plant fibres: cattail grass, water hyacinth, bulrush, corn husk, willow and paper rope. The range covers woven wall baskets as single pieces and in sets of 3 to 8; sea turtle, fish, mermaid, shell and moon wall art for coastal rooms and nurseries; and table pieces such as placemats and napkin rings.

Wall baskets are sized by diameter, mostly 20 to 35 cm, with a few smaller accent pieces and 40 cm wall plates. Many sets combine different sizes and patterns, so check the listing for what is included; most set listings also sell each basket on its own.

Sea turtle and fish wall art comes in large and small sizes. Large turtles are about 25 to 30 cm across and small ones about 13 to 20 cm, depending on the listing. Buy one piece or a family set, such as one large and three small turtles. Many pieces have a built-in loop on the back or top; check each listing for how it hangs. Nails, hooks and tape are not included.

For the table, there are water hyacinth placemats in flower, fish and turtle shapes, and square 30 cm cattail placemats in sets of 4. Wipe them with a damp cloth and let them air dry; do not soak them.

Every piece is handwoven, so pattern, tone and size vary slightly from the photos. Keep natural fibres dry, wipe them with a dry cloth, and keep them out of long direct sunlight. Our guide to woven materials compares the fibres.

FAQ

Is hanging hardware included?
No. Many pieces have a built-in loop; each listing says how it hangs. Use a small nail or wall hook, or double-sided tape where the listing suggests it.

Can I buy one basket from a set?
Most set listings offer each basket as a single option. Pick it from the options on the product page.

How do I clean woven wall decor?
Wipe it gently with a dry cloth or a soft brush. Do not wash or soak it, and keep it away from water and steam.
