These bags are handwoven from natural straw, water hyacinth and yellow grass, plus one crossbody style woven from nylon rope. The collection has straw tote bags with leather or bamboo ring handles for the beach and market, and small crossbody bags with zip tops for travel and everyday errands.

To choose, decide what you need to carry. The leather-handle straw tote measures about 28 x 10 x 21 cm and is also sold as a bridesmaid tote. The bamboo-handle tote closes with a magnetic snap and has room for a beach towel, sunscreen and a book. A mini crossbody bag holds cards, keys and lip balm. In the yellow grass mini bag, the small size (17 x 13 x 7 cm) will not fit most phones, while the large size (20 x 15 x 8 cm) fits a phone up to about 16 cm tall. The lined water hyacinth crossbody bag is about 17.5 x 14 cm with an adjustable strap. Compare your phone with the measurements in the listing before you order.

Each bag is woven by hand, so shape, size and colour vary slightly from the photos. A bag can arrive a little flat from shipping; reshape it by hand and fill it with tissue paper.

Keep straw, grass and water hyacinth bags dry and wipe them with a soft dry cloth. The nylon rope crossbody bag can be hand washed gently.
